Robert H. Martin
Expert Facilitator and Strategist

Robert is an expert facilitator and strategist who consults on strategy, process design and impact management to clients including Arcus Foundation, California Ocean Science Trust, and the Gates Foundation.

Robert has nearly two decades experience in not-for-profit and private sector environments, with expertise in organizational strategy, program development, program strategies, and communications. He has extensive know-how designing and facilitating peer-learning networks and capacity-building programs for nonprofits and philanthropies. He also leads strategic planning processes for diverse groups, with a special focus on associations and nonprofit collaboratives. During his career furthering social impact, Robert has worked with clients such as the James Irvine Foundation, the Council on Foundations, the League of California Community Foundations, the Atlantic Philanthropies, Grantmakers for Education and the University of California. Earlier in his career he was marketing and corporate strategy director for Spectrem Group, a global research and consulting firm in the investment services industry. Robert is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Reed College.
